Hi people, can you give me some advice please? I will be touring Italy with two friends and we would love to see the lake region too. Have you been there and which lakes did you think were most beautiful? Is this a good time of year to be going there and are there many people around? Thanks to you all.

Hello there, this is most definitely the best part of Italy. In my opinion the natural beauty is just breathtaking. Lake Como is my personal favorite, and that of many people with me. Lugano also is very much worth a visit. My advice is see as much as you can if you have time, as each lake has its own special kind of beauty. Happy journey!
