Adriatic coast experiences in August?

Hello online buddies! I am thinking of booking a last minute trip to the Adriatic coast, most likely in Italy. I have never done this kind of thong before though and before I set off to do such a thing, I would like to get some of your experiences. I love the sun and the beach, but I hate crowds. Are there any areas where there are not so many tourists? Your help is appreciated.

If you want to avoid tourists Italy in August is not for you. You might want to consider to a month or two later when the tourist season has passed and the weather will still be pleasant. Or perhaps you can spend your holiday on a nice Croatian beach instead. Dubrovnik, for instance, would be w great destination for you! There are tourists, but enough if the traditional culture shines through!
