Adapters for New Zealand?

I am going to NZ in 10 days. I made arrangements for my trip. I made plans of my stay there and excursions. I made of the list of the things that I must bring with me (like hair dryer and my husband will bring shaver. We will bring also our mobile phones. I have heard something, but I am not sure if that is true. Do we need Adapters for New Zealand?

NZ is wonderful and unique country, so I am sure that you will enjoy your stay there. But that what you heard is true. And NZ is not unique only because of nature, great law system or climate there. It has also different power plugs. This power plugs are different than in any other country in the world. The plug has 3 pins that are flat. And one pin is for earthing ( they like to be safe when they use electricity). So you will need adapters for your stay there. I mean you will need adapters if you plan to use your electrical things. But you can always buy shaver and hair dryer there.
