A friend recommended Turkish beaches

I have been going on holidays for years now and I have been to almost every well-known place. This year I was thinking of trying something completely different and was looking for arrangements to countries I have never been to, nor seen them. One of my friends told Turkish beaches are very nice and that he had a magnificent time there. Can anyone share some of his experiences with me?

Turkey is the country that only fairly recently started investing major money in tourism. Thus the quality of their tourist capacities greatly varies from town to town. In any case you should avoid Kusadasi. The beaches are not too nice, neither is the sea, and the staff was extremely rude. However, if you go to Marmaris, you will not regret. It is better taken care of, the sea is much nicer, and staff at the hotels is better. Head and shoulders above the two stands Antalya. It is the true pearl of Turkish coast, the most exclusive in Turkey, with most of the famous hotel chains having their hotels there. There are some other nice places, but if you look for truly good time in Turkey, definitely go to Antalya.
