I have to admit that I am a bit skeptic when it comes to beaches other than Brazils in South America. But, since all of my friends have this idea of going to Argentina, I guess I do not have much to complain about. So, what are Argentina beaches like? My guess is that they are not as Copacabana, but I hope they could be at close to the famous Brazilian beach.
I havent been to Copacabana so I cannot compare these two, but I have been to Mar del Plata, town around 400 kilometers south of Buenos Aires. More than five million people visit this town each year, from Argentina and other countries too. Tourism is one of the main industries in this place which means that no tourist will leave this town unpleased and dissatisfied. If you are looking for god beach in Argentina, head for Mar del Plata.
