I have always thought of Canada as a country with harsh weather, subzero temperatures, strong, cold wind and plenty of ice and snow. Not too appealing for the likes of me, who enjoy warm temperatures and mild weather. I have just learned that there are 2400 sunny hours in British Columbia! I find that hard to believe. Is it true?
Yes it is true. British Columbia has the warmest weather in Canada. That is particularly true for the Okanagan Valley. Warm summer, moderate winter and pleasant spring and fall are making this part of the country the most pleasant place to visit or stay. Kelowna boasts with more than 2,000 hours of sunshine annually.
